Canada Post workers at various locations in Saskatchewan walked off the job Tuesday.
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) announced Tuesday morning via Twitter that workers in Saskatoon, Moose Jaw and Weyburn were going on strike.
The job action comes as part of a CUPW campaign of rotating strikes in cities across Canada.
The union served Canada Post with a 72-hour strike notice on Oct. 16, allowing workers to walk off the job starting Oct. 22.
So far, the CUPW has opted to limit walkouts to certain cities, rather than shut down all locations at once.
