Police have revealed the identity of a woman found dead in a burned basement suite on 21st Street on Monday.
Saskatoon police say the victim was 42-year-old Kim Gamble, and next of kin have been notified.
Gamble’s body was found after firefighters responded to a blaze at the multi-unit complex on the 1400 block of 21st Street West around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Police initially said the death wasn’t considered suspicious, but Friday’s update said the cause of death hasn’t been determined — though an autopsy has been completed.
The fire and death are being investigated by major crimes and the coroner’s office.
