Saskatoon fire crews found a body a basement suite while working to put out a blaze Monday afternoon.
They responded to a fire in a multi-unit complex on the 1400 block of 21st Street West just after 4:30 p.m.
An attack crew entered the building and established the fastest way to get the fire under control.
While inside the basement suite, the body of a deceased person was discovered.
A fire investigator was called in immediately to determine the cause of the blaze and amount of damage.
It’s not clear how the person died.
