Thanksgiving usually means a long weekend filled with family, friends and food, but the Park Town Hotel is getting ready for a lot more.
“Thanksgiving definitely marks the beginning of the busy season for us,” General Manager Salil Kulkarni said.
The hotel is gearing up for the holiday with its traditional Thanksgiving buffet at the Four Seasons Restaurant Sunday.
According to Kulkarni, all your Thanksgiving favourites are on the menu again this year and some new things to update the brunch and supper buffet.
“Everyone on the crew is working — from part-time, to full-time to all managers,” Kulkarni said about the busy long weekend schedule.
There won’t be any time to rest once the Thanksgiving celebrations are over at the hotel.
Staff will have to switch into Christmas party season.
“After October, it’s just a busy time,” Kulkarni said.”Soon we’ll have Christmas parties every weekend.”
The general manager expected the next few months to be packed with special events, parties and visitors to the hotel.
