A 37-year-old man is in hospital after being tasered by Saskatoon police on Thursday morning.
Police said, in a release, that officers responded to a report of a man in distress and found him at a home on the 10 block of Hamilton Place.
He was threatening to harm himself while holding a nail gun, and refused to listen to officer commands, according to the release.
A taser was used to take him into custody safely, at which point he was transported to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
The use of the taser is being reviewed, as per police policy.
