Part of new Boychuck and HWY 16 overpass opens to traffic

Traffic at Boychuk Drive and Highway 16 is changing again.

Starting Sunday, all eastbound and westbound traffic exiting Highway 16 onto Boychuck Drive and Rural Road 3050 will stay in the right lane.

Vehicles will go under the overpass and follow the loop to go north or south.

Drivers going north on Rural Road 3050 will still turn left at the intersection to get onto Highway 16.

Work on the Saskatoon Interchange Project started in April 2017 and also includes a new interchange at McOrmond Drive and College.

While crews continue to work on the overpass the speed limit around Boychuck and Highway 16 will remain 60 km/h.

The new overpass is expected to be completed in the spring of 2019.
