More than 40 artists and performers will showcase their work Saturday across Saskatoon for Nuit Blanche.
The one-night annual festival is part of the movement that showcases local art in cities around the world.
Saskatoon Chair Michael Peterson said a lot of work goes into making it right.
“Everything from the conceptional working with artists to develop it to the really minute,” Peterson told 650 CKOM.
“Like making sure they (the artist) have electrical and a light isn’t shining on what they hoped would be a dark space.”
Peterson said more than 20 projects will be featured along Broadway, through Downtown, River Landing and into the Riversdale area.
One of the unique projects is a GIF projection wall.
“You can insert yourself into some fun GIFs and take pictures for social media,” he said.
Nuit Blanche starts at 7 p.m. Saturday and runs until 1 a.m. Sunday.
