What’s closed and what’s open on Labour Day in Saskatoon

Labour Day means more than just the final summer holiday to enjoy the lake.

It also means a change in business hours for those staying in Saskatoon this weekend.

Nutrien Fireworks Festival at River Landing runs until Monday.

Here’s what’s open and closed this Labour Day Monday:

• City Hall and all public libraries will be closed
• Parking is free during posted parking hours
• The Saskatoon Landfill will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Yard, waste and recycling pick-up will continue as scheduled
• Remai Modern will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Nutrien Playland at Kinsmen Park will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Transit will be operating under its holiday hours
• Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo will be open for its regular business hours (Zoo: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Park: 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m)
