The driver of a motorhome is in critical condition after a two-vehicle collision just south of Wakaw.
RCMP said the motorhome collided with a semi towing a trailer at the junction of Highway 41 and Highway 2 Wednesday night. The motorhome was heading south on Highway 41 when it crashed into the eastbound semi and trailer, police said.
The man who was driving the motorhome was taken to hospital by STARS, and the air ambulance service said he was left in critical condition. According to RCMP, the man driving the semi wasn’t hurt.

Police said road conditions were good at the time of the crash, and they are investigating further.
RCMP created a detour through commercial parking lots to avoid closing the highway completely. The wreckage was cleared by 6 a.m. Thursday.
