Heat and hazy conditions don’t seem to have put much of a dent in attendance at this year’s Saskatoon Exhibition.
Prairieland Park Corp. reported 203,363 people made their way to the fair grounds over the full six days of the Ex. That’s down by 2,117 people, or about 1 per cent, from last year.
In a media release, Praireland spokeswoman Kristy Rempel passed on the Ex organizers’ thanks for another successful year.
“With much competition for leisure dollars, we are thankful to have the people of Saskatchewan choose our fair/event to support,” she wrote.
Rempel also thanked volunteers, staff and sponsors for their help and support.
The Ex returns to Prairieland Park from Aug. 6 to Aug. 11 2019.
The winning number for the Saskatoon Ex 50/50 draw will be posted on the Prairieland Park website.
