8:30 – Almost 2 years to the day after a fatal shooting on a Saskatchewan farmyard, the family of Colten Boushie has filed lawsuits against the RCMP and Gerald Stanley. Boushie’s mother, Debbie Baptiste, and two of Boushie’s brothers are named as plaintiffs in the lawsuits against the RCMP, and Bapstiste is the lone plaintiff in the lawsuit against Stanley. Richard Shekter, a partner with Toronto law firm Shekter Dychtenberg LLP, who focuses on litigation, joins John now.
