RCMP pause search for missing man after body found in river

Saskatoon RCMP have suspended the search for a man missing since July 29 after a body was discovered in the South Saskatchewan River on Thursday.
Police said in a release the body hasn’t been identified, but the search for 57-year-old Robert Lehto has been suspended.
Lehto was last seen south of Saskatoon at Paradise Beach, near a sandbar in the river.
Saskatoon Search and Rescue and RCMP members started searching for him along the river on Sunday, but didn’t tell the public any details until Tuesday.
Police said Thursday the body found was within their search area.
