Saskatoon patrol officers, the guns and gangs unit and forensic identification are working together to investigate a shooting early Saturday morning.
Police responded to a 911 call just after midnight and found a man who was shot in the back on Avenue I South.
Paramedics from Medavie Ambulance transferred the 29-year-old to Royal University Hospital.
In a media release, police said the man is in serious but stable condition.
