A Saskatchewan man has been charged with three child porn offences following a joint investigation.
Drake Christian Lacerte of Little Red River First Nation has been charged with making child pornography, making available child pornography and possession of child pornography.
The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit began investigating a person posting and sharing child pornography on the internet via an image sharing service on July 5.
The investigation led them to Little Red River, where the activity was taking place.
On July 24, a search warrant at the specified location led to the seizure of a cellphone. A search warrant at a separate location led to the seizure of a laptop. Both devices are slated for further forensic examination.
Lacerte was arrested at the scene and held in custody.
The 21-year-old appeared in Saskatchewan Provincial Court in Prince Albert on Wednesday.He will appear in court again on Thursday for a show cause hearing.
