A dog that ran away after a car crash in Saskatoon earlier this month has been found safe.
Saturn — a one-year-old white lab mix — was with her owners when their vehicle was hit at the intersection of Confederation and Massey drives on July 7.
In a Facebook post, owners Micah Ouwens and Morgan Thompson explained when they opened the vehicle door Saturn bolted.
They ran after her, but couldn’t catch up.

The couple created the Facebook group Search For Saturn to share information and updates from calls they received.
Over 10 days, the group grew to nearly 500 members — with dozens of people actively searching and reporting sightings in nearby areas.
On Tuesday morning, the owners told C95 Saturn has been found safe and all three were heading to the vet for a check-up.
