Saskatoon police are investigating the death of a 27-year-old man last Friday as a possible murder.
Police have identified the victim as Ken Peter Balan from Saskatoon.
Around 5:30 p.m. July 6, officers found Balan injured on the north alley of the 1400 block of 20th Street West.
He was taken by ambulance to hospital, where he died.
According to police, an autopsy conducted by the coroner’s office Tuesday confirmed Balan was killed.
However, investigators are not releasing the cause of death at this time.
