Woman hurt in Saskatoon hit and run

Police are looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian Sunday evening.

In a media release, police say a 56-year-old woman was hit by a car while using the crosswalk at Avenue W and 22nd Street.

EMS took her to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Now police are searching for the driver, who left the scene before they arrived.

Traffic restrictions were in place around about two hours for the investigation.
