Saskatoon police are looking for a suspect after a report of a sexual assault Wednesday evening in the Stonebridge neighbourhood.
Police said in a statement Friday morning that a 34-year-old woman was at the intersection of Cornish Road and Macinnes Street when she was approached by an unknown man.
The man allegedly made sexual comments and touched her inappropriately, prompting the woman to flee to her home.
Police said the man followed and then forced his way inside the home. The woman reportedly locked herself in a bathroom until he ran away.
The man is described as being in his thirties, “possibly hispanic,” with a dark complexion and dark hair. He’s estimated to stand at 5 feet, eight inches with a slim build.
He was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt with blue jeans and running shoes.
Anyone who witnessed the assault or who has information on the suspect is asked to call Saskatoon police at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
