Saskatoon police say they are looking for four suspects after a 30-year-old man was attacked in a failed attempt at a mugging in a downtown alley.
The man was reportedly walking around 1:45 a.m. along Second Avenue near 21st Street when a woman called him over to the alley.
Police said three suspects then attacked the man, stabbing him in the back before he was able to run away.
The man was taken to hospital with what police believed to be non life-threatening injuries.
The suspects in the attack are described as three Indigenous men in their early to mid 20’s, all standing between five feet six inches and five feet eight inches tall and wearing dark clothing.
The woman is described as being in her mid-20’s with a slender build and also wearing dark-coloured clothes.
