Two men from Saskatoon are facing charges after police responded to street racing in the city’s north industrial area last weekend.
Members of the Air Support Unit spotted the racing from overhead and alerted patrol units on the ground, who were able to find two of the three vehicles involved.
According to police, drivers in both vehicles were seen going 113 kilometres an hour in a 50 km/h zone.
They’re charged with racing and disobeying a stop sign. One driver is also charged with driving while disqualified.
Both vehicles have been impounded for 30 days.
