A collision Thursday morning 11 kilometres west of Rosetown has left one woman dead and a man injured.
According to RCMP, a 55-year-old woman from Fiske was driving an SUV east on Highway 7 when a pickup truck travelling westbound collided with a semi in front of her then hit the SUV.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 47-year-old Rosetown man driving the pickup was taken to a Saskatoon hospital with unknown injuries.
RCMP say the driver of the transport truck, a 73-year-old man from Asquith was not hurt.
The STARS air ambulance service reported around 8:20 a.m. Thursday that it had sent a unit to the scene.
Officers told a West Central Online reporter the highway would be re-opened by 4 p.m.
