Saskatoon police have identified the body pulled from the South Saskatchewan River on Sunday.
The remains belong to 27-year-old Brent Cook, who was reported missing on April 23 in the 500 block of Avenue X South.
Police said at the time they were concerned for his well being and that he may have been in a vulnerable state.
Police have not said how he died, but have ruled out foul play.
The fire department’s water rescue unit recovered the body around noon Sunday after a pedestrian spotted it floating near the Broadway Bridge.
