A coroner is working to identify a body recovered from the South Saskatchewan River Sunday afternoon.
Police were notified when a pedestrian spotted a body floating east of the Broadway Bridge.
Saskatoon’s water rescue team was deployed to the riverbank and recovered the body a short time later.
Several agencies are assisting with the investigation, including major crimes, forensics, and the missing persons task force.
Police said more information will be released after family has been notified.
