Saskatoon police are looking for more information after two elementary schools on the east side went into perimeter lockdown Tuesday morning.
The schools, located in the 200 blocks of Avondale and Rosedale roads, initiated the safety measure after a student reported seeing a person with a gun in a nearby park.
Police responded and searched the area, but no firearms or suspects were found. The perimeter lockdown started at 9:30 a.m. and was lifted at 9:47 a.m.
