According to Saskatoon police, there was no foul play in the death of a man whose body was found in the South Saskatchewan River.
Saskatoon fire crews training near the Broadway Bridge Thursday evening discovered the 25-year-old’s body.
An update from police Friday afternoon said an autopsy had determined foul play was not involved.
The man has been identified and his family was notified, but police will not release his name.
Saskatchewan’s office of the chief coroner is now in charge of the ongoing investigation.
