Two charges of manslaughter have been laid in the 2017 shooting death of Tyler Applegate.
The charges stem from a shooting on July 22, 2017, where the 27-year-old was shot in the stomach at a home on 33rd Street near Avenue W.
A few weeks later, Applegate died of his injuries in hospital, deeming the shooting Saskatoon’s third homicide of 2017.
In addition to charges of manslaughter, the two men are also charged with accessory after the fact to discharge firearm while being reckless as to the life or safety of another person.
The investigation is ongoing.
