Saskatoon police have laid a charge in one of two collisions that tied up traffic in the city’s east side right at the peak of the Tuesday evening rush hour.
Officers were called shortly before 5:30 p.m. to a motorcycle crash in the southbound lanes of Circle Drive near Taylor Street.
The 59-year-old motorcycle rider reportedly lost control of his bike. He was taken to hospital by paramedics where he was reported in stable condition.
Police issued an update around 11 p.m. Tuesday saying the motorcyclist had been charged with driving with undue care and attention.
A second collision that happened shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday, near the cloverleaf on Circle Drive South, remains under investigation.
