Mark Messier is her distant cousin, but this Sask. hockey product is carving her own path.
A live-fire training exercise will be taking place at Canadian Forces Detachment Dundurn at starting Wednesday.
Dubbed Exercise Armoured Bison, the training will involve some 190 reservists from the 3rd Canadian Division.
A Forces spokesperson advised that people may see increased activity in the area around Dundurn, including small arms and artillery fire in the training area along with flares going off at night.
A Canadian Forces CH-146 Griffon helicopter will also be part of the exercise.
Exercise Armoured Bison will run from April 25-30, with the bulk of the training activity to take place over the weekend of April 27-29.
