One of the highlights of summer in Saskatoon is just around the corner.
Organizers of the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival announced the ticketed lineup for 2018 on Friday.
This year’s Jazzfest will feature Ben Harper & Charlie Musselwhite, City and Colour, Tom Cochrane with Red Rider, The Flaming Lips and Kamasi Washington among the acts on the TD Mainstage.
Also announced were Bonobo (Live), John Butler Trio, Matt Andersen and the Bona Fide, Dee Dee Bridgewater & the Memphis Soulphony, Kellylee Evans, The Jerry Douglas Band, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra.
So far, all the acts announced are part of the ticketed lineup appearing on the main stage, at the Broadway Theatre or The Bassment Club.
The Groove Series lineup of artists appearing at Amigo’s Cantina and The Capitol Music Club will be announced next week.
Jazzfest tickets go on sale March 23 at 10 a.m. The festival runs from June 22 to July 1.
