8:30 a.m. Reality Check…Saskatchewan’s public prosecutions office has decided not to appeal the Gerald Stanley verdict. An appeal wouldn’t be able to overturn the jury’s not guilty decision, but it could look at the instructions the jury received from the judge. The province’s top prosecutor, Anthony Gerein, said Wednesday there has to be a mistake of the law for an appeal, and none could be found in this case. Do you think the Crown did the right thing?
