Police had to deal with five crashes between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m.
Three of those collisions were on Circle Drive, where pavement remained slick after snow fell over the weekend and into Monday.
Tuesday’s crash numbers were a setback from Monday, where police only dealt with six minor collisions by 3:45 p.m., despite heavy snow blanketing the city through much of the day.
Police noted speed limits are set for good driving conditions. They asked for people to slow down and leave extra space between themselves and other vehicles.
