Saskatchewan RCMP are still investigating last week’s death of an 18-year-old man on Highway 12 north of Martensville.
Police were called to the scene around 7 a.m. on Feb. 24.
They determined the man had been walking in the driving lane when he was hit by a southbound vehicle.
Police said the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and co-operated fully with officers.
While police said Wednesday they weren’t considering charges, they were still looking into the incident alongside the provincial coroner’s office.
*Note: A previous draft of this story said police were called to the scene around 7 p.m. This has been changed to 7 a.m. after RCMP issued a correction to their original media release.
