RCMP have identified a man found dead on river ice near Saskatoon Sunday.
After a call for public help to ID the man, RCMP said Tuesday they now know he’s a 35-year-old from Saskatoon.
Officials are not releasing his name.
Police said the death does not appear to be suspicious in nature; however, RCMP and the coroner’s office are investigating.
RCMP also noted the man was not reported missing at the time they found him.
An autopsy is scheduled in Saskatoon later this week to determine the cause of death.
