RCMP are asking for help to identify a man found dead on the ice in the South Saskatchewan River Sunday.
Police said the man was removed from the ice around 15 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon.
Investigators have not been able to identify the man, who they’ve determined is an adult.
He is described as having short sandy-blond or brown hair and a goatee.
He was wearing blue jeans, a black bunny hug with a white design, a black medium-length coat – not a winter jacket – and black high-top runners with bight, light blue laces.
Saskatoon RCMP are working with RCMP Major Crimes Unit North and the provincial coroner’s office to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP at 306-310-7267 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
