Saskatoon police are asking the public for information after a shooting late Tuesday night.
Officers were called to a parking lot on the 1700 block of Preston Avenue around 10 p.m.
A witness told police they saw a group of men yelling at each other. One of them was seen carrying a long-barrelled gun.
The witness told police they heard several gunshots.
The parking lot was empty by the time officers arrived. Police did find evidence of shots having been fired, along with signs someone may have been injured.
Shortly after being called over the incident in the parking lot, police learned of a 35-year-old man suffering from what appeared to be non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
Police said the man was unco-operative.
Investigators do not believe this was a random incident.
