No injuries after a suspect fired a shot into a home near Battleford Sunday morning.
In a release, Battlefords RCMP says they were called to rural property west of Battleford at 5 a.m. to investigate a reported break and enter.
According to police, the investigation determined someone was seen breaking into an outbuilding. RCMP believed the same suspect discharged a firearm once at the residence, resulting in a broken window. No injuries were reported.
The K-9 unit attended and determined the suspect had got away in a waiting vehicle.
RCMP is still searching for the suspect who is described as approximately five feet seven inches tall, wearing dark clothing and a backpack.
