Saskatoon police are advising drivers to expect delays Tuesday afternoon on the University Bridge and Spadina Crescent.
The University of Saskatchewan Indigenous Students’ Council is planning to march in reaction to the verdict in the Gerald Stanley trial.
The march is set to begin around 4:30 p.m. at the Gordon Oakes Red Bear Student Centre on the university campus. Marchers will move along College Drive, crossing the University Bridge and onto Spadina Crescent where they will move to the Saskatoon Court of Queen’s Bench building.
Police advised that the westbound lanes of the bridge will be closed as the march passes through, along with lanes on Spadina Crescent.
