Saskatoon Police are treating a fire in the west end as an arson.
Late Tuesday afternoon, firefighters responded to a house fire in the 400 block of Avenue I South in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood.
“Further investigation showed a person was seen leaving the house when the fire started,” Saskatoon Fire Department said in a release.
Upon arriving, crews quickly attacked the fire from the exterior to knock down the flames and cool the interior before making their way inside, where no occupants were found.
No injuries have been reported. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
