Parents from a small community in New Jersey may have given the Philadelphia Eagles just the lucky charm they need to take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.
Gary Kelmer, 66, has been a school bus driver for 26 years in the community of Mount Laurel, NJ, located about 30 minutes east of Philadelphia.
Known affectionately as “Mr. Gary” in the community, Kelmer is a lifelong Eagles fan who’s taught generations of kids the team’s fight song while driving them to school.
As a thank-you for his years of service, a group of parents set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise over $5,000 in five days to cover two tickets to the Super Bowl, airfare, accommodation and a pair of custom jerseys for Kelmer and his wife.
They surprised him earlier this week when he made the last stop on his route.
