A wrong push of a button caused some brief confusion and panic in North Battleford on Tuesday.
Residents mistakenly received SaskAlert notifications just before 12 p.m. warning about a flood and wildfire in the city.
The alerts were cancelled within 17-minutes with a message explaining it was issued in error.
SaskAlert is the Government of Saskatchewan’s emergency public alerting program used to alert the public of an emergency situation in real time.
