The Calgary Roughnecks gave the Saskatchewan Rush all they could handle at the Saddledome Saturday night.
Ben McIntosh scored his second goal of the game in overtime and added two assists as the Rush edged the Roughnecks 13-12 in National Lacrosse League action.
Jeff Shattler, Adrian Sorichetti, Mark Matthews and Curtis Knight also struck twice for Saskatchewan. Ryan Keenan, Nick Finlay and Jeremy Thompson had the other goals.
For the second straight game, the Rush struggled to hold onto leads. Calgary erased a 10-4 first half deficit, but the comeback fell short.
The (5-1) Rush head to Denver Friday to face the (4-1) Mammoth in a Western Division showdown for first place.
