The Saskatchewan Roughriders have come to terms with quarterback Zach Collaros for the 2018 CFL season.
The Riders gave up a second-round draft pick to bring Collaros in from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats earlier this month.
The University of Cincinnati product was due to be paid over $500,000 for 2018 under the terms of his previous deal with the Ticats.
Shortly after announcing the trade for Collaros on Jan. 3, Riders brass indicated they’d be looking to re-structure his contract to be more friendly to the team’s salary cap.
Terms of Collaros’ new deal have not been released.
