The New England Patriots are easy to hate.
The Pats have played in six straight AFC championship games and have won two of the last three Super Bowl titles. I know of lots of football fans are tired of watching the Tom Brady-led Patriots win.
Brady’s first championship was 15 years ago, his most recent was last year. Bill Belichick, who has been around the NFL for four decades, doesn’t give many that warm fuzzy feeling. Last year the monotone and indifferent looking Belichick won his fifth Super Bowl as a head coach.
Fans were quick to react when a report surfaced that Tom Brady hurt his hand on Wednesday. Could a less than 100 per cent Tom Brady be the big break Jacksonville needs to knock off the favoured Patriots this weekend in the AFC Championship game?
While Patriot haters hope so, I wouldn’t bet on it (which I know isn’t something that many of you wanted to hear). History shows that Belichick and Brady, even at 80%, is tough to beat.
