Saskatoon police have arrested two people in connection to a violent incident over the weekend, with an arrest warrant requested for a third.
Police say a 64-year-old man was tied to a chair and beaten at a home on the 1300 block of 20th Street West over the weekend.
Officers were sent to the home around 8:30 a.m. Sunday after police got a call about a disturbance.
They reportedly found the 64-year-old inside and then arrested a 23-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman at the scene.
The 64-year-old was taken to hospital by paramedics with what police described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said further investigation led them to ask for an arrest warrant for a 42-year-old woman, who was reportedly involved in a relationship with the alleged victim.
So far, the two suspects who have been arrested are facing charges of break-and-enter, unlawful confinement, possession of a weapon and breach of probation
