Four people are in custody after a stabbing in Fairhaven on Monday evening.
Police were called to the 300 block of Pendygrasse Road just before 8:30 p.m. about an injured man.
Police said information they had received was that the victim had been stabbed.
The suspects left the scene in a vehicle, but were apprehended a short time later.
According to police, the suspects had blood on their bodies, two knives and a canister of bear mace in their possession.
Three men, 23, 29, 43 and a 31-year-old woman are charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The victim was treated and released from hospital.
The assault has been turned over to the police targeted enforcement unit for further investigation.
