RCMP are reassuring people in a small community in Northern Saskatchewan they remain safe following a shooting Thursday night.
Police reported Friday that officers were sent to a home in Dillon, about 550 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon, around 10 p.m. on Dec. 14.
They arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officers have been searching for a suspect since then.
An RCMP media release urged people to report any suspicious activity, but noted they viewed the situation as an isolated incident and a minimal threat to public safety.
