Saskatoon fire crews and police officers responded to a gas leak after a contractor ruptured a main line in the Brighton neighbourhood Tuesday.
It happened around noon at 121 Dubois Crescent in the city’s east end.
The area was evacuated as SaskEnergy was called to the scene.
Police said the energy company sealed the leak and the area was deemed safe shortly before 1 p.m.
Traffic restrictions were also lifted at that time.
