A 62-year-old man was hit by a vehicle and killed while walking along a highway in northern Saskatchewan Sunday.
RCMP said they were called to the scene along Highway 102 just north of Brabant Lake around 3 a.m.
The man, from Southend, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene for police to arrive.
RCMP said a collision reconstruction investigator attended the scene.
Traffic was detoured for a period of time and was re-opened early Sunday morning.
RCMP continue to investigate this incident.
