A Saskatoon elementary school was put on lockdown Thursday morning after a witness reported seeing someone with a gun outside the building.
Saskatoon police responded to École River Heights School on Ravine Drive around 9:20 a.m.
The school immediately went into a perimeter lockdown.
Police said officers thoroughly checked the area as well as a nearby school.
No weapons or suspicious people were found.
The perimeter lockdown was lifted as of 11:17 a.m.
Police said the report was of a male suspect, but did not provide a description or approximate age.
