A Braylon Shmyr hat-trick helped form a five-goal third period as the Saskatoon Blades came back to beat the Brandon Wheat Kings 6-5 Friday night.
The Blades were down 4-1 entering the third period before Shmyr (3), Cameron Hebig and Libor Hajek scored for Saskatoon.
Shymr’s game-winner came with just 19 seconds left on the clock.
Brad Goethals had the Blades other goal, finding the net in the third period.
Following the win, the Blades embark on a 5-game road trip in the United States. Saskatoon will face Tri-City, Spokane, Everett, Portland, and Seattle before returning to SaskTel Centre Dec. 9.
